Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 5, at 1 p.m., in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Arthur “Bee” Leleux, 85, who passed away at his Crowley home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at 4:30 p.m.
Fr. Clint Trahan, pastor of St. John the Baptist in Lyons Point and Immaculate Conception in Morse, will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, March 4, at 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A Rosary will be recited Friday at 6 o’clock in the evening. Visitation will resume on Saturday, March 5, at 8 a.m. until time of services, all in the funeral home chapel in Crowley.
Arthur worked for TL James for 43 years. His hobbies were fishing and crabbing and spending time with his family and his pet and beloved Jack. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Elgin D. Leleux; two daughters, Judy and husband Percy Kibodeaux of Crowley and Mary and husband Dallas Pelly of Crowley; one sister, Louella Leleux of Crowley; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Nita Leleux; two sons, John E. and Paul A. Leleux; one brother, Clifton Leleux.
Pallbearers for the service will be Chris Leleux, Percy Kibodeaux, Chad Venable, Zachary Roger, Tyler Thibodeaux and Nicholas Kibodeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Kibodeaux and Hayden Navarre.
