Funeral services will be held for Marie Jones Gese, 74, at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, at Duhon Funeral Home, LLC-Crowley with Rev. Peter Joseph officiating.
The family is requesting that visitation begin at 10 a.m. and continue until just prior to the time of service. Interment will be at a later date. Mrs. Gese passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 3, 2016.
Marie is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Gerald V. Gese of Crowley; son, Daren Gese of Crowley; daughter, Sian G. Aberly and husband Robert of Lafayette; grandchildren, Alyssa Gese Duhon and Adam of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Gabrielle Gese of San Diego, California, Hanna Marie Broussard of Lafayette, Peyton Aberly of Lafayette; great-grandchildren, Xander Duhon of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and Aurora Duhon also of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; and one neice, Delwena York of Rayne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Jones; as well as one sister, Shiela Jones.
