Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 16, at 2 p.m. at Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Isabella A. Comeaux, 90, who passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at 8:25 a.m. at her home in Lafayette.
Deacon Bryne Winn will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowleya.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, June 15, at 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. Visitation will resume on Thursday, June 16, at 9:30 a.m. until time of services all in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Comeaux Sr. of Lafayette; three sons, Terry and wife Kaye Breaux of Lafayette, David and wife Cheryl Breaux of Crowley and Wendell Breaux of Scott; five daughters, Winna and husband Raymond Lavergne of Crowley, Judy Breaux and Abby Higginbotham of Lake Charles, Jennifer Morgan of Rayne, Arlene and husband David Quibodeaux and Annette Breaux of Carencro; one stepdaughter, Nell and husband Dana “ Poncho” Delhoussaye of Youngsville; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one grandchild she raised as her own child, Danielle and husband Robert Lacombe of Hessmer.
Mrs. Comeaux was preceded in death by one son, Michael Whitney Breaux; three daughters, Veronica Eve Breaux; Brenda Gail Istre and Clara Taylor Monceaux; two brothers, Lenis and Dennis; three sisters, Lelia, Carmelite and Enola.
Pallbearers for the services will be Terry “Boo” Breaux, Tyler Lacombe, T.J. Monceaux, Cory Delhoussaye, Brent Johnson and Jay Trahan. Honorary pallbearers for the services will be Alex Burgess, Elliott “Poo Bear” Monceaux and Drake Stepp.
