Jack Oliver D’Aquin

Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Saturday, June 18, 2016 at a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m. for Jack Oliver D’Aquin, 3, who died Wednesday, June 15, 2016, in Crowley.
After a 2-year battle with cancer, Jack went peacefully surrounded by his family. Jack was a patient at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a place were he not only was treated and found hope, but also a place were he called home. Jack was a vivacious 3 year old who never gave up. In his short life he not only touched so many lives but showed many people what life really meant. Jack’s memories will continue to be cherished and missed by the people he touched in his short time here on earth.
Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Crowley.
Surviving are mother, Hannah Michelle Simoneaux of Rayne; father, Zachary D’Aquin of Crowley; maternal grandparents, Paul and Kimberly Savoy Simoneaux of Rayne; paternal grandparents, Robert and Peggy Quebedeaux D’Aquin of Crowley; maternal great grandparents, Jerome and Hilda Simoneaux of Rayne; godfather/uncle, Shawn Simoneaux and wife Lauren of Rayne; godmother/aunt, Katherine D’Aquin Burford of Lafayette; and uncle, Thomas D’Aquin of Crowley.
He was preceded in death by uncle, Robb D’Aquin.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday, June 17, at Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne.
Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, Friday, June 17, from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturday, June 18, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Ronald McDonald House of Memphis, rmhc-memphis.org.
